Muong Village: a cozy home stay in Ninh Binh
Very good location, well designed and well equipped
I spent 3 days and 2 nights in Ninh Binh and I choose Muong Village as I want to have a different experience for my family from staying in hotel or in resort. As I looked and asked around, I found out that Muong Village is among one of the most recommended home stay in Ninh Binh. It has quite good location, only about 5 – 8 minutes drive to Trang An Grottoes. It is close to Chinh Thu Goat Meat Restaurant – one of the most famous restaurants of goat meat in Ninh Binh. The way to get in the homestay is small and make you feel that you go to a rural area. However, that is what makes it very special and you have your own tranquil place to enjoy and rest in the middle of a tourists area.
The homestay is one of the biggest homestay in Ninh Binh and locate in a tranquil mountain area where you can enjoy the beautiful view of nature. They have about 20 rooms designed like Vietnamese old village from the outside but very well equipped inside. My parents and my kids love the place.
Very good services and very friendly staff
When I booked the place I got number of Dat the Manager of Muong Village homestay. He is very helpful, very effective. Every time I called and he answered very quickly and always try to find out the best options for my request. He is very good at English and has excellent skills of hospitality. I think he is quite professional and the staff under his management is very helpful too. The reception is very near the gate and is decorated by wood and bamboo. The receptionist is very kind and friendly. In general, I have very good impression with the staff in Muong Village.
Besides, the homestay provide almost all the services you need for your stay including spa, tour recommendations. They also have motorcycles or bicycles for rent, so that you can travel by yourself to discover the place.
Fresh and tasty foods served at the homestay
Foods served in Muong Village is very fresh and tasty. Breakfast is served in the morning for all guests from 6 am to 9 am. I really like the fresh orange juice and crab paste vermicelli soup. All the foods and drinks are fresh and tasty. The vegetables served on the table are organic and harvested from their own farm. If you want to have your lunch and your dinner served at the homestay you need to book in advance. The kitchen will start prepare the ingredients and cook everything following your order and recommend you some of their signature dishes. My family and I have very tasty local meals prepared by their kitchen and we love it.
My family and I really enjoy our stay in Muong Village. The place is good for kids, family and friends gathering as they have large open air area. It is also good for couples who wants to have their own private time together. If you are in Ninh Binh and look for a good place to stay, Muong village is one of the option to consider.
